About

Dr. Lagoudas received his Ph.D. from Lehigh University in 1986. He currently serves as the senior associate dean for research at Texas A&M as well as deputy director of TEES. His research involves the design, characterization and constitutive modeling of multifunctional material systems, and he has co-authored nearly 400 publications. His SMA modeling and analysis approach has been utilized by industrial, governmental and academic entities worldwide.
