National Corrosion and Materials Reliability (NCMRC) 1st Workshop
August 9, 2016
Topics:
- Performance, testing and design of coatings and materials in extreme (corrosive) environments
- Reliability modelign in different asets exposed to corrosive and extreme (corrosive) environments
- Current and Future Research topics at NCMRC
Purpose:
Meet with industry in order to have a range of perspectives on where each approach can have a significant impact in cost effective solutions; the effectiveness of current applications, experimental design and performance diagnosis of new materials in extreme environments and predicting modeling capabilities for addressing these issues; what additional identification /quantification of experimental conditions is needed; and what additional modeling capabilities need to be developed in order to have a real impact given current data available in companies, for maximizing their resources.
