About
Brenda is a Ph.D. student of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University and joined Dr. Castaneda’s group in 2015. Her research interests include: coatings, localized corrosion, corrosion mechanisms of metals and anodes performance. Brenda is currently studying the electromechanical response of a Zinch-rich epoxy coating with carbon nanotubes for corrosion protection of a carbon steel substrate in turbulent flow conditions based on Impedance Spectroscopy.
