Dr. Shei SIA SU


About

Dr. Shei Sia Su is metallurgist with research experiences in powder production, nanoparticles synthesis, material processing, microstructural characterization, electron microscopy and spectroscopy, mechanical and corrosion testing. She obtained her Ph.D. in Metallurgy and Materials from University of Birmingham, UK.  Before joining Dr. Homero Castaneda’s group at Texas A&M University in early 2016, Su held a position as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK. Her research interests include: nanotechnology and nanomaterials, powder metallurgy, material processing, microstructural characterization, electrochemical evaluation, localized corrosion and atmospheric corrosion.
